Giuseppe was born in May 1976 in Reggio Emilia, Italy. He spent lots of his summers spying on private life of Herons along the river Po (Italy's major river) and sketching them in their secret moments. That's how things started. After high school he moved to Milan where he attended a professional Illustration course. He is currently working in Milan, though weekly escaping to the country looking for inspiration, and experiencing new impressions.
After winning some local wildlife art competitions, in 2002 he was selected with two paintings for the 2nd International Exhibition of Animals in Contemporary Art showing in Torino, Barcelona and London (the Mall Galleries). During the last year he has been exhibiting in Italy, Spain and more often in England. He exhibited again at the Mall Galleries in London, and last September at the Society of Wildlife Artist's Annual Exhibition, in Bristol and Port Lympne with the Wildlife Art Society International. In 2003 he won the prize "Artist of the Year" for the Wildscape Magazine Competition.
