Self Taught. I am keen to be able to progress to the standards of Carl Brenders who I admire immensely. I have a real love of nature and strive to paint realism with impressionism in order to create the accuracy of the subject. I prefer to paint wildlife using gouache on board but also use other mediums. As I am employed as a police officer, I sometimes have difficulty in finding the time to undertake this passion of mine. I hope, in due course to eventually immerse myself into this hobby fully, especially when I get the time to undertake my own fieldwork and preparation.
