Vimbisai launched his  career at the early age of 16 with exhibitions in Europe, particularly Switzerland and advanced at a national scale in Africa (Zimbabwe). His art depicts the natural and seeks to express the needs of society.

His objective is to simply capture his perception of life through colour and form. By experimenting with various techniques in an effort to define the evolutions we undergo as people: understanding our environment and ourselves.

In 1985 he won - Best Under-16 year-olds Water Colour Painting at the Harare National Agricultural Show Art Contest (Zimbabwe).
